ESSEN- WFUNA DAY "PROOF" ENVELOPES:
The one proof envelope was found mixed in with the normal stock of envelopes WFUNA'S entire stock of envelopes was carefully screened.

Only 59 envelopes on which the text "Kalliggraphie durchgefuhrt von Joan Belserene,U.S.A." on the reverse is 2 2@ long and-overlaps the flap of the envelope, were found. On all the others the text is 2" long. The envelopes with the 2 2" text were submitted as "Proofs" to Wfuna. They were to be destroyed but in error were mixed in with the 2" general stock envelopes and sold.
